A Life of Music

By the grace of God, music has always been a major part of Austin's life. Afterall, he is one of five children, and the only one in the family who plays any musical instruments. To be more acute, he is an avid guitar and fiddle player, and can hang his hat on being able to pick some tunes on 5 other instruments.

 

During his musical journey, and after playing guitar for 13 years,  Austin found  the need for a fiddle player to help out on some country music projects that were ensue. Being that fiddle players are hard to come by, amongst other factors that reduce the supply, he decided to learn to play fiddle on his own.

 

With no idea where to start, Austin paid a visit to a local violin shop in New Braunfels, Texas, where reknown fiddle player Bryan Duckworth, offered a pricelss promise. He told Austin that if he promised to practice, he would promise to teach him to play fiddle.

 

After many saturday violin-shop-visits, remodeling the violin shop, a lot of barbecue, endless sweet tea, feeding cattle, and helping Bryan Duckworth with various ranch activites, a great friendship has been cultivated and a new fiddle player born.

 

As a young professional, Austin currently lives in Austin, Texas, works during the day in commercial real estate, and nutures a couple startups, while always making time to play some music.
